Good write up once again - sounds a fun couple of days have been had so far.

You need to find an ATM that dishes out something different - don't like doner meat!

Looking forward to my run on the Ravenglass Railway up in the Lakes in a couple of weeks :)

Excellent day had but the sounds of it. Gutted the 20s didn't run but sounds like was still worth it. I've never done the Blue Bell. Good to see you have the preservation bug! Does that mean you will be doing more?

Noddy, that's certainly the plan. If the money was available I'd be down the Mid Hants this weekend for some 56 thrash! Although forcing myself not to bellow at them would be challenging...

Crispy: You can tell I was rushing that update of the trip report on the 455 eh? I've had better doner meat and chips in Hereford, but it certainly kept my stomach happy, topping it up with a light snack later!

Andy: If that ATM really did dish out doner meat and chips (obviously I meant to put that I got some cash out on an ATM run!) it would be installed in my workplace! As long as it was transportable to base camp on my bashes!

Day 3's trip report will be along in the next 4 hours, maybe slightly less!

18/04/2016 - Tech's You've Gotta Jump Jump, Day 3

Having done the majority of the packing last night, and not needing to rush too much today, when I wake at 0639 it's de-rancify time and out on the rails. I'm not willing to wait until 0930, I'll pay a peak fare, let's do this! So I dry off after a marvellous shower as fast as possible, I have so much to go for in London I need to make some dents into it all. I finally score 2561 and 2560 on the Tramlink lot for sight, just two more to see! I flag 377506 which I needed as it was rammed solid, and I end up on winner 377472 leading duds 377405 and 377110 on a trip to London Bridge. An idea came to mind when I briefly looked at a map earlier...Duds 376017+376024 are up to take me to Cannon Street, at least I scored another coach in 376017! There wasn't anything else showing for ages to Cannon Street, so just went for it. There's a Tube move next, and 7533+7048 take me Tower Hill. I think some of you at least will know now what I'm up to, glad I got a D stock for potentially my last time ever though!

Upstairs at Fenchurch Street, after shelling out £13.50 for a day return to Stanford-le-Hope, I just make it past the crowds on double winners for everything 357322+357318 on the 0820 to Shoeburyness. It did occur to me I could have stayed on the D stock sets until Barking, hey ho a bit late now! I also need coffee, I've not yet had one today. I do like the refurb on the 357/3s, far nicer than the lot in the /2s! A big bottle of Pepsi Max and a can of Monster Khaos sourced from Sasi Cash and Carry opposite Barking station, it's back in to join double winners 357312+357016 for a leap to Upminster. The weather is glorious, and winner 357319 takes me onwards to Stanford-le-Hope for the day's first winner shack.

The rattle of the panelling on 357319 [in 68619 for reference - Ed] got on my nerves by Chafford Hundred, so it's Tech's Mobile Disco to the rescue and the latest addition to the mix is up first, Nightcore - Dam Dadi Do. YouTube it and you'll find yourself hooked on it, just like I did! After three plays of it, I move onto Nightcore - Jump Jump, the tune this trip references. "You've gotta jump jump, that's what the trains are for, you've gotta jump jump, if you want more, you've gotta jump jump when you get a score, everybody on the floor" is my slight re-wording of the chorus for the purposes of this trip. I just love this tune, although I also love Pretty Rave Girl. Which should be up next actually, and I'd reference in a hashtag and trip title, but I've yet to have that lightbulb moment!

Winner 357008 takes me to East Tilbury for another shack score, and with the +30 for the next westbound train I figure I should eat some of the doughnuts sourced last night, as I've yet to eat today. It's also back on with Tech's Mobile Disco! Winner 357043 takes me to Tilbury Town for shack score 3 today. Very little of note around the station, what a dump of a place! I'm getting desperate for a PNB now, but will have to wait until I join the next train! 357319 is back to take me to Ockendon, and I got my shacks mixed up, meant to do Chafford Hundred first! A PNB was gratefully had on this move, having waited over an hour for it! Winner 357021 takes me back to Chafford Hundred, and I join winner for everything 357314 back to London Fenchurch Street. I only have 40 minutes between the arrival here and my train home, so the danger music is applicable! A headache is in play, thankfully I had some ibuprofen with me.

Off the train at 1154, and within 3.5 minutes I'm on the eastbound platform at Tower Hill, most pleased with that! 21477+21478 take me to Aldgate where we pull in alongside a Metropolitan line train to Chesham. The driver advises it'll go first, so I jump off onto 21086+21085 to Euston Square. 26 minutes from Fenchurch Street to Euston, not too bad, and I have time to source a meal deal and hot sausage roll from Sainsburys.

The platform is announced at 1227, and unusually in my experience we're using platform 7. 350376 is on it today and I get onto the platform to face enormous crowds. Doors are finally released at 1238, and very luckily I get a table seat and power socket, to be then surrounded at my table by two blokes with 750ml bottles of Sainsburys cider. Surrounded by veg, ugh, I think Tech's Mobile Disco needs to get back on! Lunch is devoured by Hemel Hempstead, and the fast run is so much more enjoyable than the long and slow drag endured on Saturday night! The veg next to me are on to Stoke-on-Trent, thank Goodness for the invention of earphones...Bookwork would now be the order of the day, but I don't have the room to spread everything out, and the veg took up all the room in the luggage racks above the table! Anyone know what was on the front of that set of ex-Virgin MK2s charging south the WCML through Cheddington around 1310?

Charging past the traffic on the M1 is still one of my favourite bits of this run, just makes you feel smug somehow! A catch up on the forum has me occupied until Rugeley Trent Valley, although I have to confess to wanting off at Lichfield Trent Valley. Why? The pull of the Starships was strong, but new track was more important! I'm looking forward to scoring the flyover at Norton Bridge, which at the time of booking hadn't occured to me. Only when Kite159 mentioned it did I realise, this will be the highlight of the homeward journey! It's worth pointing out that even this far up, the front coach is still fairly busy, although I suspect by Nuneaton the train will have emptied out quite a bit. For the front to still be busy surprises me, then all of a sudden at Stafford it is down to less than 12 of us in the coach. The 350 gets up to quite some speed but it feels a little rough when we jerk to the right off the new slow line formation, onto the flyover itself. The new bit from the north end of the flyover to the Up Slow is nearly complete, maybe done by the summer. I assume that'll be used by the Crewe to London Euston LM services and maybe southbound Voyagers? It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Alsager indicates we're almost at journey's end, and much to my surprise I didn't get out of my seat once until Kidsgrove [so about 2 hours and 25 minutes - Ed]. Takes some doing that on a 350! I definitely want a coffee now, that Monster earlier was the only caffeine I've had so far today, and it's worn off now. After arriving 2 minutes early at 1524, I'm off to McDonalds just over 5 minutes walk away, next to Holiday Inn Express. My full coffee collector card is redeemed and that feels better! Many more observations are made for the "Trains you've seen working" thread [you may have noticed I've got myself rather hooked on populating the thread again - Ed] before joining 175113 to get home.

Both 68011 and 68013 are noted on the DRS depot, interesting that two Chiltern 68s are not on Chiltern work currently. I have a major pile of bookwork to do now, and it's time for Tech's Mobile Disco again! The books are all done by Yorton, and a count of the moves I need to add to RailMiles is made. 166 moves on trains, trams etc since the end of February, this is going to take forever to process! Fortunately I plan [note that word, I know what I'm like... - Ed] to spend my days off on Sunday and Monday sorting that out. The poor keyboard when I get it done...Not much else really to talk about, it's straight home via a lift after arrival.

Let's get some stats going on, since I have the time now:

Winners: 10*
Shack scores: 5
New sights: 14*

* = These numbers may well rise, as they don't include any potential winners on the Tube. I'm expecting them to rise nicely!

Rail fares: £22.50, plus whatever the TfL fares weigh in at (will hopefully know tonight, so expect another minor alteration)
General expenditure: £6.87
Total: £27.37

Sounded like a good little day trip out to the deepest darkness depths of C2C land, and a nice run on a 350 to Crewe.

Reference the track layout around the flyover, isn't the new spur replacing the old line going to the "Up Fast" rather than the "Up Slow", with World's End bound voyagers probably taking the flyover and down to the up slow to avoid crossing the fasts on the flat to head down towards Birmingham?

I feel your Crewe train pain, but if you live where I do and have a low budget then its handy. Rest of the day including the flyover sounds a lot of fun so again thanks for sharing.

Ah yes, you're right, it will link to the Up Fast not Up Slow

Update to the scores is here, thanks to having processed my Tube moves and sights:

Day 1 Winners: 2 (thanks to a pair of winning units on the Victoria line, 29 more to go)

Day 3 Winners: 13 (an increase of 3 thanks to a D stock score and a pair of S8 half sets)
Day 3 New Sights: 32 (up from 17, lots of S7 half sets scored and a D stock set too)

Bring on the next trip, which will be probably be 9th May now as there's an annoying Bank Frothday weekend in the way!

Sounds like a good time in C2C land! A question for the VT mk2s at Cheddington. Did you see the leading loco(s). It looks like 47847 and 47848 are potentionals but I'm not certain by any stretch of the imagination. EDIT: Scratch that. Much more likely to be 66714 hauling the ECS for 87002, which worked a footex.

Why did you book on the Crewe service if you didn't remember about the flyover until later? Also, do the 73/9s sounds like tractors (as in farm tractors)? It may sound like a stupid question but Nathan says that they do and I haven't heard one yet.

I can't say I've heard a tractor that sounds like 73964, but I can see where the comparison comes from. I don't know how I'd describe the sound to be honest, but it was noisier and better than I expected!

Going via Crewe, well I can't quite remember the logic at the time! Either way, the ticket combination allowed me to have a 175 home, so happy days!

A good day 3 had by the sounds of it.

The hashtag threw me this time, as the music is more modern and as it isn't in my normal genre, it will probably be a while before it hits my ears properly! The older Cascada stuff I am reasonably OK with, but anything in the clubs nowadays hasn't hit me yet!

If there were ATMs which dished out hawaiian burgers, we might be on to something!

You did well on the tube then. Nice little surprise I guess not knowing if you had scored them or not till you got home. All in all a good weekend for you. I will be remembering the easy hotel for future reference. In fact I have booked a stay in one when I am in London in September.

A lot of musical references this summer will throw you then! I think a lot of these Nightcore tunes are at least 5 years old now, Dam Dadi Do was put on YouTube 6 years ago apparently!

Noddy: They are basic places, be warned, but when you're only using them for sleep and charging phones etc, then they're wonderful value. I'm going to use them again, that's for sure.

Next trip is being investigated, but I have a new bed to buy for myself following my current one getting damaged by other members of the family <(

Tech, glad to read all about your visit down south and especially your visit to the Bluebell. Shame you missed out on the 20s but I think you were given duff gen as to what the problem was - 20901 is not well in the wheelset department and was left behind when the convoy left for Tonbridge Yard. I've been given to understand that it will be need to be moved by road.

An excellent three day move.
The Bluebell is now very much on my to-do list, having been excluded during their anti diesel days.
You can't accuse them of that now!

Here we are then, live from the middle of nowhere!

06/05/2016 - Tech's Over Doing It, Day 1

Finally, May's bashing has begun, and it feels like forever since my last bash which ended on 18th April! A decent bit of bashing in London has been long overdue too [with all that's been happening recently too, a de-stress was also required - Ed], and the night before this trip, packing was done once I got back from work. No super early morning start either [that's tomorrow... - Ed] as I was getting the 0720 bus to be in place for the 0940 to the Bat Cave! Breakfast and filling the travel mug with Tech's Fuel of Champions [coffee! - Ed] became the order of the day first of course. 2 days ago I made this trip into a 5 day spree, which I'll reveal as this trip report goes on. Truely I was over-doing it!

So what's this trip title about? For a change it's not a musical one, it is a loving tribute to Mythbusters, which saw its final season conclude earlier this year. I'm going to miss them like crazy, as is my brother for that matter, we both loved that programme. Not all of you will be familiar with it, so for those people, it was an American programme that ran for 14 years on which they tested myths of all sorts over the years, using scientific measures. It might not sound exciting, but it sure made science more fun and appealing to a whole generation, and it was always interesting to see what myths were true or not. I probably am not making it sound enjoyable, but trust me it is worth a watch. One of the Mythbusters' mantras is "If it's worth doing, it's worth over doing" hence the inspiration for this trip title and hashtag! Expect some complaints of Red Pen Fever as this trip report goes on...

As much as I dislike the mundane journey to Birmingham [I've done it far too often, it's one of my most frequent journeys on RailMiles - Ed], I couldn't find a reasonably priced route with GWR to London so an £11 LM+VT Advance had to do, meaning I got 153365+170506 to the Bat Cave, with the onward move to London to be the 1130 Birmingham New Street to London Euston. DBT was enjoyed to Ledbury, but was then inaudible over a group of lads getting on and boozing it up [already? Jeez... - Ed] all the way to Birmingham! For the first time in years, I ID the 66 on the Tesco container train as it goes down the Lickey, it being 66303. It's been traditional for me to manage to not ID the loco for a long time!

A large mocha from Costa was enjoyed, using some of the many points on my Coffee Club card. A supply raid in Tesco Metro [maintaining a tradition! - Ed] saw me stock up on 4 bottles of flavoured water amongst other things, in a bid to both increase my healthiness and to beat the heat on a hot day. After a PNB, I make my way down to the 1130 to London Euston, joining coach U (65348) for a carriage score and shove the phone on charge. This coach is very busy several minutes before departure, good thing I came down early. Tickets for Tuesday also collected, happy days. A lunch break is had, which will fuel my bashing until some time this evening, now bring on the Pendolino tilt!

The tilt did not disappoint either, those curves on the route via Weedon sure generate a lot of it! Arrival is into Euston's platform 15 at 1255, and I have a fast march to Euston Square. My first London move falls to double winners for everything 21099+21100 for a leap to Kings Cross St Pancras, onwards I score double winners for everything 21503+21504 to Tower Hill. A very good start to clearing my lists! A walk in the sunshine to Tower Gateway gets me on triple duds 68+81+34 to Cyprus, and hassaanhc joins me at Custom House. He kindly agreed to print my easyBus ticket for me, which I was most grateful for. I score two DLR units for haulage on the way there, and during the walk to Gallions Reach we see an interesting trio of 02+01+03, 02 being needed for sight. That leaves just 30 and 52 to see on the DLR, happy days! Before that, we join duds 141+140 with winner 137 to Beckton Park, as Hassaan needed the shack.

After a few minutes' wait, winner 02 sandwiched dud 01 with winner 03 at the back for a trip to Canning Town. Dud 36 and winner 26 took us to Pontoon Dock, where we wait for winner 35 and dud 10 back to Canning Town. It's onto the Jubilee line now, as we needed to get to Clapham Junction to meet up with Kite159. Winner for everything 96114 and winner 96099 took us to Waterloo, and the noise in the tunnels was epic. I must get on with doing more of these! We just make it onto a trio of duds [really?! When I need 15 456s?! - Ed] 455859+456015+456018 for a slow journey to Clapham Junction. 456015 becomes a Super Dud on this trip, and I score 458525 for sight. Still a lot of those to get!

Kite eventually arrives, and our leap to East Croydon is aboard a rammed solid winner 377137 and dud 377122. Check in at base camp, easyHotel Croydon, is done and after a bag empty and PNB, we're soon back on the move. Hassaan points out some 171s are on the way up, so we go down for them and just as well, as it's double winners 171721+171802 to London Bridge! Onwards to Cannon Street, and it's another pair of winners with 376012+376005, oh the fever is coming on...A trio of 375/9s is observed on the 1724 to Folkestone Central, and the 1719 to Sevenoaks was cancelled. Me and Hassaan join winners 375924+375908 with dud 375914 on the back, while Kite went after his last 465/0. Our train however is rammed solid, as a stop at Orpington has been added, so passengers from the Sevenoaks train rammed this out. I dread to think what the 10 coaches behind us were like, but we were in coach 2 and that was full. From Bridge it was crazy, as those on Twitter will have seen from the photo I shared. Kite somehow managed to get on as he needed 375914, and we were off to Orpington. I had no intention of coming to zone 6 today, but hey ho!

We wait for the hundreds of people to get out of the way before heading for a fast train back to Charing Cross. As it was a pair of dud 465/9s, we decline it and instead join dud 375605 and winner 375915 on what was supposed to be a fast run, however we might as well have been on a Thameslink Stagger, it taking 29 minutes to finally get to Charing Cross. We need now to get to Farringdon to meet Kristofferson, who has been waiting for us! Duds 7517+7042 take us to Blackfriars, where we then get winner 377504 and dud 377502 [dud for Brighton to Bedford from memory! - Ed] to City Thameslink, where we await the 319s, which produce double duds 319444+319421 for the leap to Farringdon. Ahh, AC powered 319s, no question about it, far superior to DC power!

We finally get to Spoons about 40 minutes after our original plan, and an excellent meal is had along with a good little catch-up with Kristofferson. I still can't believe how long it's been since we were here last time, all the way back on the August Bank Holiday Frothday weekend in 2015! After a while he needs to get home for a relaxing weekend, while the rest of us head down to the station and join double duds 377208+377515 [seriously, my luck is terrible on Thameslink! - Ed] to Blackfriars. We part ways with Hassaan now, who heads east while Kite and I head to Victoria on double winners 7046+7502 [that probably won't happen again for me, a pair of winning D stocks! - Ed] as we were on a mission of faith. It was great to see you both again Kristofferson and Hassaanhc, I hope you both have a good weekend, and many thanks again for printing that ticket for me Hassaan!

Sadly we were not able to make the intended train to Balham, but we do join winner 377106 and dud 377149 to Clapham Junction instead. As per Kite's search on RTT, his last Southern 455 indeed produced! Winner 455807 and dud 455842 [other way around for Kite - Ed] take us to Battersea Park, Kite being rightly happy to have cleared his 455s! I still need 56 of the things...Eventually double winners 377703+377615 take us back to Clapham Junction, they're coming down!

Instead of a 442, we jump on winner 377117 with duds 377320 and 377302 on the back to Victoria. A quadruple 377/3 set is noted arriving, with a winner on it, so after finding nothing better, we go and investigate. Turns out winner 377326 sandwiched duds 377316 and 377303 between winner 377306, another two steps towards conquering the UK then! We eventually leave 5 minutes late, as the BTP were attending an incident in the last coach. Back at East Croydon, the fresh air is wonderful but I'm afraid Red Pen Fever hit us both like a ton of bricks. Winner 2548 took us to Lebanon Road, winner 2556 took us back to East Croydon, where winner for everything 2562 returns us the one stop east, winner 2543 returning me several minutes later. I then rejoin Kite on winner 2550 to George Street, from where I'm in luck...

Winner for everything 2563 takes us to Wellesey Road. This is particularly noteworthy as this was my last Croydon tram to see, happy friggin' days! One last chance of a winner now, and I score winner 2539 back to East Croydon. It's 2243 now, time to head back to base camp! Thankfully the air-con was working, and it did a grand job too. Somehow, despite being tired, it took a while to get to sleep. An 0530 alarm was so not being looked forward to...

An excellent day, with 14 new sights (not including a BA plane!) and 35 scores for haulage! 2,265 scores still out there on the mainlines...Day 2 will no doubt be posted in the morning.

Sounds like a brilliant day around the capital! Congrats on clearing the Croydon trams for sight too! I am so far from that (I think I need all but 1)!

Super productive day for you and Kite, and even I got a winner on the way home! Spoons was quiet when you arrived compared to how it was while I was waiting!

Looking forward to the next instalment :)

An excellent read, Mr Tech. You certainly do not hang about when you're taking the capital by storm. Good to read all about your successes in the Smoke. Those Bus Stop Bashes on the Croydon trams are a meagre micro mileage! At least it's a reasonable leap if you do East Croydon to Sandilands.

Looking forward to reading about the rest of your antics on your five day mega marathon.

Just wait until you read about the epic pub crawl round Cleethorpes me and him embarked on - plus the solemn ceremony held in the wine section of Sainsbury's... Not kidding!

I'll properly read the replies in the morning, in the meantime here is Day 2:

07/05/2016 - Tech's Over Doing It, Day 2

Waking at 0530 to a headache and very tired eyes was not fun! A de-rance sure helped, and just after 0600 we head out for the day. Breakfast is sourced from Upper Crust and goes down well, but disappointed at the lack of option to heat the sausage baguette. A good start to the day though with double winners 387113+387111 to St Pancras, 387113 was a score for sight too. A meal deal is sourced from Boots at Kings Cross, then we make our way up to join 43050+43059 on UKRailtours' The Midland & Great Central excursion. Me and Kite are in separate coaches on a fully loaded tour, and the HST East Midlands Trains provided is fine inside but caked in grime on the outside, a disgraceful show and a very poor advert for them. Not giving passengers a view out of the window that's clear, on an excursion, is just not good passenger service.

After a while I get bored, so bang on some tunes and finish Day 1's trip report. That got posted during the long wait at Birmingham Curve Junction. Thank Goodness that boring route is now covered, save for the curve at the top end towards Birmingham, not keen to do that line again for a long time though! Toton gets me 66750 for sight, still 19 GBRf ones to see and 20 overall [66953, one day you will be mine! - Ed] and it's so stuffy on this HST. Coffee number 3 of the day is sourced by Kirkby in Ashfield, and I see 42328 is a score so I've got something out of this HST. By Shireoaks I know what's coming after Brancliffe Junction, that is a long boring 15 mile endurance fest to St Catherine's Junction, so I bang the tunes on. Only 2 hours 15 minutes to go until Cleethorpes...Kite comes and joins me at this point to natter, so tunes off. The time does pass better at this point.

Eventually we arrive 2 minutes late at 1402, then we have to wait several minutes for a shunt forward for some reason. We meet forum member HMS Ark Royal and after a short natter we see Kite off while he goes unit bashing, Ark and I went to winner Spoons The Collieseum Picture Theatre. No winner brews on to my surprise, and we go upstairs to the roof garden. Not many Spoons I've been to that have one of those! Kite rejoins us briefly, Ark and I go to Sainsburys for a supply raid. I get 3 bottles of beer I haven't had before for the way back, then go to a chippy for a hellfire meal, where I get a jumbo sausage and chips with gravy for £4. After this, Ark and I go to the pub on the station and grab a swift half of Cottage Brewery's Duchess. A score and a brilliant beer, highly recommended. 288 brews now logged so far!

Kite now rejoins us having had 170308+170303, which I believe one of those was his last 170/3. We part ways with Ark, great to finally meet you, next time you can get me a pint in ;) 43059+43050 leave on time at 1620, and we leave the area far quicker than we did coming in! Now, where's that bottle opener...Three bottles later, I'm now on 291 brews logged on Untappd, and I score 73962 and 73963 for sight on a test train at Loughborough! The journey goes quite quick, also scoring goods line around the back of Leicester, until Luton Airport Parkway where we crawl along the slows for ages, before transferring to the Up Fast just before Hendon, and we wait for ages for a path into St Pancras.

Arrival is bang on time at 2135, and we jog down to the low level plaforms. 319428 is dud for both of us so it's flagged, with double winners 387201+387120 taken on an infamous Thameslink Stagger to East Croydon. A visit to McDonalds is had, where I redeem one of my last WHSmith vouchers, then we make our way back to base camp. The phone is shoved on charge asap, as it got down to 5% left. That was with it being off for 2 hours or so during the tour as well!

The required track, that being Knighton Junction to Burton-on-Trent and St Catherine's Junction to Kirk Sandall Junction, done was certainly welcome, and a good day overall. An 0630 alarm is set, ready for Day 3!

Not too much then  I've only got 3 coaches marked in the book on it so probably not much mileage for me off it

Bluddy hell man you making me well jell! Great day in the worlds greatest city, fabby!

Great day indeed, but as I realised this morning I didn't touch the Victoria line. That's usually a staple of my London visits! I had a hunch you'd be jealous lol

Sounds like a brilliant day around the capital! Congrats on clearing the Croydon trams for sight too! I am so far from that (I think I need all but 1)!

It was indeed a brilliant day, as my post on Red Pen 2016 will eventually show, probably on Tuesday morning. It took years to clear them all for sight, but until they decide to order more I've finally dealt with that!

Super productive day for you and Kite, and even I got a winner on the way home! Spoons was quiet when you arrived compared to how it was while I was waiting!

Looking forward to the next instalment :)

I dread to think what it was liike in there before we arrived! Almost conquered your requirements I believe you have, soon enough you'll be hunting your last 377 for haulage...;)

I certainly am not expecting more than 20 chains on the Lebanon Road leaps, but they're in the book. One day I will be back for the shacks!

Too much to get in the book to hang around for too long in London, that's for sure. I just need to hurry up and figure out when I'll be back, or when I'll be able to do my long-time-planned week in London!

Glad you and the others have all enjoyed the read so far, plenty more to come!

Just wait until you read about the epic pub crawl round Cleethorpes me and him embarked on - plus the solemn ceremony held in the wine section of Sainsbury's... Not kidding!

Oh gosh, I forgot to mention the ceremony! Ark will have to fill you in there, I've forgotten half of it. I blame a long day yesterday

That pub on the station, despite being tiny, was a great one to visit, just a shame there wasn'f time to try all those winner brews!

Shame about the tram windows being dirty but it sounds like a fun day! Sounds like Cleethorpes is good for something then (pubs)! I see you got a 'Southern gatwick express' 387 there. Is the interior any different to the Thameslink ones?
