Jubilee Platforms Waterloo - Shortest Walking Path

Hi all, hoping someone can help. Visiting London with a friend later this month, and at one point we'll be getting the Jubilee from Waterloo to Finchley Road. We'll be staying at the bottom of Spur Road, south of Waterloo but they have limited mobility (in that it takes them a while to walk longer distances, steps are fine) - what is the shortest walking route was to the Jubilee Platform at Waterloo? Keen to not get taken round the whole station when there's a shortcut we could maybe use.

Walk round the corner and enter by McDonald's, it's then down the escalators towards the Jubbly line.

The Colonnade ticket Hall in the attached photo is where you'll enter opposite the escalators coming down from the main concourse.

Indeed, entering the station from Waterloo Road (see Google Maps street view) you immediately turn right to cross the gateline and take the escalators down to the intermediate level of the underground station. As you can see from the 3D map, this is exactly in the middle above the Jubilee Line platforms, and you can take either of the two sets of escalators down. In order to exit at Finchley Road, you want to be at the very rear (eastward end) of the westbound train, so you should choose the escalators on your right as you come down.
