I used to get takeaway from there when I lived in York, it was really nice, the Raj on Bootham was better but there wasn't much in it... Clearly gone down hill in the last couple of years...

For the past couple of years my better half and myself have tried a few in York (including the Raj, Mumbai Lounge etc) but our favourite place is the Viceroy on Monkgate.

I'd forgotten about them! Yes, very nice indeed. My ex's parents own a B&B afew doors down and they have a reciprocal deal of recommending each other, so we used to get a nice discount when visiting

If you mean to the Jorvik then does the "forum pays" offer apply to Gaviscon and Imodium?

I think that, out of the Mumbai Lounge and the Viceroy there's virtually no difference in quality but they each do something a bit different to eachother to make visiting either very enjoyable
