Hi all,

Have done some research but cannot find anything recent on this topic!

Does anyone know if there is a specific website or if network rail has links with the UAE? Specifically looking for Signalling’s and or control jobs out there?

Also for anyone already out there, does anyone have info on salary, rosters, and what it’s like working and living out there etc. any help would be gratefully recieved!

I believe it is quite hard now as they recriut their own nationals. It use to be the would take westerners but things have rapidly changed over there especially for railway jobs. Etihad rail is your best bet when it comes to jobs in the UAE. They are probs the best one for recruitment.

Yea I’ve signed up With Etihad rail just in case, not sure if I’ve missed the boat on this sadly….

I was out there for a while, it’s true they’ve shifted toward hiring more locals, but some expat roles still pop up, especially for specialist stuff like signaling. Etihad Rail is your best bet, but also check out Serco and Alstom, they sometimes have contracts in the region. Just be patient, it’s more competitive now.
