Wondering if anyone is lucky enough to work on railway near Carlisle?
Personally I work in retail as a manager at the minute, with the intention to get on the railway. I pass tests with ease and never seem to get through shifting even though I drive etc? I take it when you state you are interested in railways on your application companies don't want to know?
Seen a post on here the other day about Scotrail, they never replied to my application for a trainee role at Dumfries.
Whats everyones thoughts? Seems like there is more options in the south?

but the recent one is a crossing keeper so hope I get a looking as this one suits me better.
