Job title inflation

From a recent RAIB report (not directly related to job titles....)

The title Shunter was used until 2017 and is used in this report. In 2018, all shunters at Dollands Moor yard were renamed Operations Supervisors.

The role of yard operations supervisor had the title Yard Operative between 2012 and 2017. In 2018, this position was renamed International Operations Supervisor

Any more examples of grandiose-sounding titles given to mundane jobs?

The railway has specific titles and competencies for certain roles.

Shunt Driver
Depot Driver

This removes any ambiguity over who does what.

At a depot I use. The Shunters were changed to Yard Protection when their competencies were changed. I assume (yes I know I shouldn't) that their title changed as the role and responsibilities also changed.
