Hear stories of how guards/conductors are made redundant because of services going DOO.

So I have a question. How secure are jobs as guards/conductors/train managers for intercity express services? E.g. working for..

Virgin Trains
CrossCountry
East Coast

Pretty secure......for now.

The AXC franchise is extended until 2019 so at least until then!

The long distance Voyager service are pretty safer but thier has been talk about it going DOO. Not sure how they'd implement it but idiot comes down to ££££'s, they'd find a way to work it!

I can't see the Voyager services going DOO any time in the near future. There are too many issues that require attention, revenue being a significant one.
