Job interview today! Northern

Hi all, I have an interview at Piccadilly today and am really nervous. I have researched the company and prepared some answers such as handling a difficult situation, describe a time you have helped someone, a time you gave good customer service and a time you made a big decision.

If anyone has any advice they could give or knows anything i have missed, any info would be greatly appreciated.

I think you have covered everything. What i did when I went for my trainee conductor interview was i printed off a couple of emails from customers and suppliers that I dealt with in my job saying what a good level of service i had given and they loved it

It went ok thanks. I was prepared for everything they asked. I probably came across abit neevous though so il just have to wait and see now

Most candidates have some sort of anxiety at an interview and this is accepted in the interviewer is an experienced interviewer. I once sent someone off as they were really nervous and told them to come back an hour later, it did the trick and they got the job however it depends on the body language, the responses to the questions etc. Don't worry too much and I hope you did well. You need to remember that there is very stiff competition for any role on the railway and it is the content of your answers rather than you being slightly nervous that is the important factor.
