I am looking for the best resource for job vacancies within the railway structure, i have done countless searches and to be honest my head is spinning.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

hi and thanks for the reply, im really looking for a train driver job, but on reading through the threads they seem pretty scarce.
So i like to follow in my fathers footsteps and go towards signalling or even conductor/guard/tickets.

Ah! On the driver front, I kept searching individual TOCs websites. There are links to individual TOCs on this webpage http://www.traindrivertrainee.com/Train-Driver-Jobs-and-Vacancies.html but some of them are out of date, I think.

Alternatively, this page is useful (but hasn't been updated since 23 December) http://www.traindriver.org/train-operators-depots--jobs.html

And here's another useful site http://train-driver-career.com/train_driver_job_vacancy.aspx

I've signed up to job alerts from jobsite.com and there is also myjobsearch.com but using the term "Trainee Train Driver" brings up some irrelevant roles.

Be aware that some people have reported signing up for vacancy alerts on individual TOC sites and not receiving the alerts.

Good luck! See also the "Stocky" posts for useful info if you haven't already read them.

Hope I haven't flouted any rules by posting these links. Anyone else suggest any good sites?

Thanks Martin, I Applied for the trainee train driver with first capital connect, it took a while finiding something for my area.
