Job application/Signaller sig3 FTC

[]Hi everyone, just looking for some advice.
I have just applied for a Signaller postion for Northallerton. This is a total career change for me as i was a staff nurse. I recieved an email from Network Rail yesterday with a link for slhdirect.com. I answered 16 {situational) questions today. What happens next ? thanks in advance.

You wish.......they out your score against the other people and take the top ten scores. Then it's an assessment day the interview.

your score is weighted and put with everyone else who has applied for that role.
It's the top 8 go through to the assessment, then the top 5 from the assessment centre go through to interview, and then medical.

Its a long long road. Prepare to wait. With the SJT its normally around 5-7 days from the vacancy closing to get everyone to do their tests and grade them, and then you will know if you are through to the next round... then the waiting really starts. My assessment wait was around 10 weeks.

Also your SJT scores stay active for 1 year, so any other roles you apply for your test results will be carried forward.

Hi brp46, sounds like you're in a similar boat to me. I'm a Mental Health Nurse and I've got my interview for a signalling job tomorrow! I applied for the job on 1st Jan which was the last day before closing so I guess I haven't waited very long compared to some people.
