Javelin on the South London Line

Just saw one of the HS1 'Javelin' sets going west along the south london line (between denmark hill and brixton).

Anyone know why it was there and where it was going?

Most likely route refreshing for HS1 drivers.

probably route refresher but I saw a few weeks back some 395's were diverted into Victoria

On one of the gen sites a few days back a 395 was used on a faversham-Victoria- faversham run also.

Why are they route refreshing that route for HS1 drivers - so they know it in case of diversions?
