Brilliant photos as ever, I don't suppose you could tell me where Lower Milcott is near to? Because it doesn't appear on a map.

Mintona,

Lower Milcott is about 1/2 a mile to the north of Cowley Bridge, if you know where that is. Basically where the Barnstaple branch diverges from the mainline. It was a shot I stumbled across by complete luck whilst in transit to Rewe, and required some wellies and a bit of fence hopping! But I think it was worth the effort, as it is the only part of the line where the sun is as far round as it can get at that time of day.

Cheers,

Thank you, I've found Cowley Bridge, and so now I have wheels, I might pop down there and see if I can find it. Probably in the summer though - maximum light! Thanks again, and lovely shots again (I just looked through again :p)
Regards, Alistair
