There have been several posts crop up over the past few weeks regarding emergency timetables at various TOCs due to ongoing staff absence with Covid being a major factor. Many TOCs will be implementing emergency timetables in the next few weeks, some of which have already been well discussed.

In an attempt to prevent duplication and to collate existing and new topics on this matter, this is intended as an index for those threads.

New topics will be added to this thread as required by the forum team.

Do the four hour gaps on CrossCountry’s Birmingham - Stansted route warrant adding to this list?

I notice from the TFL website that the London Overground is operating a reduced service this week between Stratford and Clapham Junction/Richmond and on the old East London Line, is this also a DFT request or have London Overground thinned out services in anticipation of loosing staff due to sickness/isolating?

Notices at stations note it’s due to staff sickness

Out of interest, are LNER going to introduce a reduced timetable? Seems strange that Avanti are going to one per hour to Manchester/liverpool/Glasgow and I can't see that LNER are reducing.

They're cancelling 16 weekday services a day currently (12 Leeds and 4 Lincoln) but no further reductions planned at the moment. LNER passenger numbers recovered better than most TOCs last year so probably hoping they can ride it out.

LNER suggesting services back up to pre Covid levels by 14th Feb.

Unfortunately for me, the SWR emergency timetable ends this week. All back to *normal* next week but not to pre COVID levels of service.
