Jacket ID help please

Hi I have a jacket which is grey, wool mix, which is similar to a waistcoat but has long sleeves with red stripes on them. There is a ? Sticker inside whic says VR vest 5d5e on it. Could this be a BR vintage jacket. Any help would be appreciated. Probably a long shot asking and I'm probably totally wrong but thanks in advance.
