I'm pleased to here it Techniquest! 
I have enjoyed reading your trip reports in the past and was sad to hear that you didn't plan to be around here very much in future. In fact, I'm currently in the middle of writing my second ever trip report of my trip to Barrow Hill Roundhouse for "East Coast Giants" last weekend, and I think it would be fair to say that it was reading your trip reports that gave me the idea to do it myself.
I look forward to reading it.

I have no idea where I'm going to go mind, although as the forecast calls for rain I'm glad I intend to be under cover and in the warm for most of the day! Just hoping the weather doesn't bowl me out, I've been getting excited about it all afternoon!
Glad to hear my trip reports have potentially inspired you to write some yourself, I'll have to keep an eye out for it and pass comment on it where appropriate

Tried that, didn't work then either. Shall see what happens on the laptop, if I can get on it tonight!
EDIT: Woop, got on the laptop tonight as Mum's watching Hawaii Five-O. Finally I can see what you linked to, which I see was this:

In all honesty, I'd forgotten about that post of yours, and my stuff never got boxed up and sent to the attic in the end!
The inner geek in me couldn't stay locked up forever, but as my trip report will tell (I'm going to start typing that up shortly, the wait is almost over!), this is no bad thing
