Is anyone else having problems with the new GTR Delay Repay form? When using Google Chrome I am able to get upto the page which asks you to select your payment method and check the confirmation box. However when I click submit I am getting something coming up saying "required field" even though all of the fields are filled in and I cannot submit my claim. Using IE I can get as far as page 2, where you enter you enter your journey details but even though I click to proceed to the next page to enter payment details, it will not proceed.

It this a fault at my end or a issue with their new form?

Thanks.

Are you clicking the recapture box at the bottom, if you are, you should see a green tick

I submitted one on Friday. No response (as in auto response) so will probably need to do it again. Would love to see reCaptcha banned. It often is difficult to tell "which buildings are shops". The cynic in me thinks they are trying to make the claim process as difficult as possible to avoid claims.

They don't control the reCAPTCHA test, Google does. Most of the time it's simply a matter of putting a tick in the box.

Yes thats exactly what they are trying to do, I mean websites like these certainly dont need any protection against bot attacks which would stop people form making a claim and then coming on here complaining about that.

Just the normal Windows 10 with default settings. Not sure if it has ad block software.

Windows 10 doesnt control your browser unless you are using Edge and you would know you had adblock as you wouldve had to install it on Chrome yourself and would show in the top right corner of yoru screen.

Try cleaning your PC using ccleaner then try again.

I have never had to actually fill out a reCAPTCHA, I guess I am more convincing at being a human than others!

The idea is I think it tracks what you do when you click the box, moving the mouse etc, so it guesses when you tick the box whether you are human or not, and if not then it gives you the 'click all of the X'. As I've said though, every time I do it myself it immediately gives me the green tick, but I have seen others at work confused at tiny pictures of houses!

If anyone knows how I can get reCAPTCHA to appear I would be really grateful. I think there is something wrong with my settings.

Does it appear on this page?

Yes, it does and I am able to tick the box and select the pictures, then get a green confirmation tick.

I have just tried the GTR site again and today see the said box and am able to get a green tick. I have therefore been able to submit my claim today :)

In the screen that followed it said: "Your claim has been submitted and you will receive an acknowledgement email within 5 days." How on earth it takes 5 days to receive an automated confirmation email I will never know. But this is GTR we are talking about here.....

I got told by the excellent() Northern customer services, that it can take up to 10 days for a confirmation email!

Who says it is an automated confirmation email? You or them?

Its another way, along with the capcha*, to prove its not a bot so it will be a human who trawls the whole inbox and can see if the claim is done by a human and then send off a received email to the claimant.

*Youll probably get it quicker than my posts get posted though

Earlier this year I had a delay repay claim refused,I email Southern to explain why they were wrong. About a month later I received some cashable rail vouchers by post, more than a week later I got a reply to my email, saying they would arrange to send me some vouchers. I've no idea how there process permit a postal letter to arrive before a email by over a week.

This is unchanged from the previous arrangements (except, perhaps now at least they admit the email will not be for some time). My *theory* is that after it is submitted online it sits in a queue somewhere and it is only after it moves on to the next stage that the email is sent. Last time I claimed, the email took something like 10 days, then I got the letter and voucher (ie a successful claim) very shortly afterwards.

Just got my email that they are investing my claim from 21st September. This is really poor to the extent I near resubmitted it thinking they system hadn't worked. Surely the could do an auto reply to the submission like decent TOCs.

Oh well see how long it takes to get rejected so I can send it to London travel watch again. For interest can travel watch take action against GTR for numerous incorrect rejections? I know the company will target as many rejections as possible as it knows most people won't appeal. But this company is a joke.

For what it's worth my experience is that GTR have recently improved in this area as I haven't had any rejections lately. Sit tight and wait for them to process your claim at their leisure
