Issues booking SailRail tickets online

I wish to buy a SailRail single from Newport (Gwent) to Dublin, using the overnight ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare.

I've visited the SailRail website and typed in my journey details. At this point, I'm redirected to ATW's website, which states that no journeys can be found. I've manually checked to ensure the 2345 Swansea-Fishguard service is running on the day I want to travel, along with the ferry itself. I've also specified journeys to Dublin Connolly (the station at which the Rosslare service terminates) and specified journeys via Swansea.

Am I doing anything wrong or is this just a glitch?

When I tried to book a similar journey it wasn't possible to specify the route via Rosslare. I guess because it's significantly longer than going via Holyhead it's not seen as a valid route - BR Fares doesn't show a valid fare via Rosslare. You should be able to book a ticket to Rosslare and buy your Rosslare to Dublin ticket from irishrail.ie and collect from the conductor on the train.

As I understand it, there are no through tickets to anywhere apart from Rosslare when travelling via Fishguard.

I've booked a SailRail single to Rosslare and then a single from Rosslare Europort to Dublin. I did consider going via Holyhead but the timings were inconvenient.

Apparently, Rosslare train station has a ticket machine now so you could collect before departure: station information page.

The through ticketing to stations beyond Rosslare was available last Summer and the previous Summer when there was a rail connection out of both the morning and evening ferry arrival.

Just collect the Rosslare-Dublin ticket from the ticket machine located at the entrance to the platform. All that needs to be done is to type in the reservation number (no need to insert any card).

That's right, when the additional evening train runs you can get tickets further along than Rosslare. My mate got one to Wexford last July.
