I wonder if you can help me at the end of the week I will be visiting the isle of wight for a few days and have a return ticket which was bought via SWR Website. The ticket is London - Ryde Esplanade. This Ticket includes the ferry transfer. However I am wondering when I Board the ferry do I Just show my train ticket or is there a sort of boarding pass I need to collect? Never been via the ferry before so your help with this would be highly appreciated.

When I used the ferry from Portsmouth to Ryde I simply showed the ticket to the ticket examiner and was allowed on.

When you get off the train at Portsmouth Harbour just follow the signs to the ferry - it's all in the same building.
