There's a press release regarding the closure of the narrow gauge Isle of Mull Railway at http://www.mullrail.co.uk/ . Disappointing news for everyone involved and the loss of one of the island's tourist attractions, it's a line I hadn't got round to doing.

There's a thread here http://www.railforums.co.uk/showthread.php?p=517456#post517456 about it - a shame, I remember going on it around ten years ago. Not the longest of lines, but certainly one of the most remote.
