The current timetable which came in on 12/12/21, shows a half hourly service on the Isle of Wight line with the services crossing at Brading. Looking at the Ryde Esplanade webcam and it seems to be still an hourly service. Has anyone any idea as to the reason...I guess that low passenger numbers may be a factor.

It’s already covered here, but it’s being reinstated as peak extras to Esplanade only. Realtimetrains records the half hourly peak service ran this morning. The Wightlink ferry service is still only hourly, which is assumed why all trains are not going to Pier Head:

I can confirm half hourly service at peaks(if such thing on island line exist especially this week with schools off), 1518 Ryde St. John’s to Shanklin is 001 today, observed units passing twice at Brading both running on time to the minute
