Hi all
This Saturday I am travelling to Chichester by a mixture of bus and train. I am always trying to save money. A simple off peak day return from Crawley to Chichester with GC discount is £10.10.
If I purchased a Haywards Heath to Chichester off peak day return with GC discount at £8.80, would it be valid to start from Worthing to Chichester and return to Crawley (eg you could continue on that train to Three Bridges then change to Haywards Heath), or has anyone got any better ideas?
I could maybe also get a bus from Crawley to Horsham, but that route continues to Worthing (and I may be able to get the GWR train as well to Chichester). I will need to travel straight back to Crawley in the afternoon, no messing around.
As I have to catch a bus to Selsey, I will have a multi-operator bus ticket, so the bus links aren't a worry, I'm looking for ideas. I would rather not fork out over £10 for a single from Chichester back to Crawley if I decide to get the bus all the way down.
Many thanks in advance
