Is this split ticket OK?

Hi guys, just a quick piece of advice needed please.

I have an Anytime Day Return from Kings Langley (KGL) to Euston (EUS). Something has come up and I need to stay on the return train to Apsley (APS).

On a train that leaves EUS as a peak service and calls at both KGL and APS, can I use my EUS-KGL ticket for part of the journey and an Off-Peak KGL-APS for the last "leg"?

If the off-peak ticket is valid on that train between KGL and APS then yes you can.

The booking engine allows it to be purchased for that train, so it's therefore valid right?

Assuming this is a Off-Peak Return you are buying, it has the following restrictions:

Restriction : B3
OUTWARD TRAVEL
By any train except those
timed to depart Mondays to
Fridays before 0900

RETURN TRAVEL
By any train

Therefore it appears it will be valid.

So long as your train calls at both Apsley and Kings Langley (in the peak that's only the 1712, 1805 and 1840) you're fine.
