Hello all, I hope this is the right section to post this. I am wondering if you could help and let me know if you think this has come from the railways? I found it in my Dad's shed and although he wasn't in the railways his uncle was. Appreciate any help on this. Thanks Claire

It could be one, but railway tools were usually marked with the company name and often a stores number. The L TB could be the remains of a stamped LPTB, the London Passenger Transport Board, which was an earlier rough equivalent of Transport for London. However, I can’t see any sign of a P having been removed and the lettering does not look as professionally done as would be expected. I am afraid it may just be an ordinary wrench, but others may know better.
