Is there still anything to see in Holmfirth?

Just discovered I can get an Arriva bus from Leeds to Wakefield and then a Yorkshire Tiger from Wakefield to Holmfirth - and back again - all on a £2*
PlusBus. But is a visit to Holmfirth still worthwhile in terms of things to see?

They might still have the fibreglass Compo outside the Last of the Summer Wine cafe !

I last visited it about ten years ago and it had a very good second hand bookshop.

On a sunny day there's a few decent pubs with beer gardens, or there's bands on at the Picturedrome but you'd be stuck for getting any further than Huddersfield once they finish.
