Is there a direct train from Wroclaw to Prague?

Or do I need to go via Dresden? Just tried checking on the DB website, but it was giving me some wildly long journeys.

Nothing direct, but there are reasonably "straight-line" routes using the border crossings at Lichkov (the main route, quickest if you leave at 13:08) or Szklarska Poreba (more scenic).

You probably need to put via-points in for these to show up. For IC quality services via Bohumin is another option....

There are several connections daily via the Lichkov crossing. Two or three connections are required to reach Prague, but it's the best option.

Travelling via Bohumin or Dresden takes you far out of the way.

Yep, via Lichkov - I've done this journey and it was quite scenic. The connections worked out quite well. You can usually stock up with beer & snacks en route.

In fact my avatar comes from that route - some unpronounceable Polish town.
