I know it's a bit late in the day now but can anyone confirm weather the Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express is running tomorrow morning?

I know the snow is one issue but I'm thinking more along the lines of the issue with trains coming from Manchester due to the incident with the 47 during the week combined with the lack of diamond crossing near Salford Crescent.

I have had a look on the operators website but I'd rather know for definite rather than trek a good few miles on public transport in the early hours in the snow...

Any help is appreciated, thanks :)

The answer is yes :)

Looked superb travelling through Oxenholme about 7 late. Sun, snow, steam, what more could you want?

At a first glance I don't think so, I noticed one of the carriages on the incident train was named "Paula" and having played back my video from yesterday that carriage is not amongst them, that I'm afraid is not a definate answer though as from memory I think that carriage was the rearmost one and therefore not able to run (due to coupling & buffer damage as well as foam/water being sprayed through an open droplight)

If anyone is interested yesterday's video is online, hardly competes with the shots others managed to get out in the sticks but frankly it was a miracle I made it as far as I did :D
