Is the Ivenhoe line now closed for good?

Ultimately I have found myself disappointed and am gauging for information, as someone Tied to Burton on Trent I look at Tracksy to see what's running locally and for where my train is, on the last couple looks (see below) there has been a message saying it's open and close date and now just a fill of OOU, is the line now destined to just sit mothballed, if so it is such a waste of a asset.

IRC it’s not closed, one track (the one denoted) is scheduled to be lifted due to cable theft. Historically, this line struggles due to funding.

I have requested more information on why this is shown like this.

Definitely makes the reopening push for the line harder, the 3 towns have had significant growth in the last few years, at least its safer for in the summer when the kids use the trent bridge for diving practice,
