Is Stratford unique station

At Stratford station you can travel by National Rail, London Overground, London Underground & Docklands Light Railway and see them all from the train, is there another station like this or is it a one off?

Looking at Wikipedia it doesn,t say about London Overground Tains using the station and can you see them all from the train you are travelling on. Never been to West Ham myself.

I believe you can see the Tube and DLR from the train, I will bow to local knowledge over my hazy memory though.

London Overground doesn't serve West Ham (c2c is the NR operator), I was saying that it counts if you accept any NR operator.

All London Overground services are National Rail services, but not all National Rail services are London Overground services...

Give Boris the chance and he will make all Network Rail services which start and terminate within the London zones London Overground, with a few added on for good measure

Jumping on the 'unique' bandwagon, Wimbledon's also unique. Only Tube and Tram interchange in London, and the only point of interchange between Thameslink and SWT. Furthermore, they're all at the same level.

If you don't count Waterloo East as being part of Waterloo. Otherwise there's London Bridge and all of the Southeastern stations that have both HS1 services and Charing Cross services.

The view over Stratford station from Marks and Spencer's cafe at Westfield Shopping Centre is remarkable. I was there (with happy wife and brother-in-law, neither of whom is remotely interested in railways) recently and estimate the longest gap between seeing moving trains to be about 30 seconds: 12 cars, 8 cars, 4 cars, expresses, all sorts - an exciting vision of the future, here and now.

No good if you're into recording numbers however.

Before the North London Line became 25kv, Stratford was the only station to have four systems of electrification (ie 25kv overhead, 3rd rail, Underground 4th rail, DLR 750v bottom contact)

It's also the only station that has more than one deep level tube line on the surface, having both the Central and Jubilee lines serve it.

There's probably others, yet Stratford is dual managed by London Underground and Abellio Greater Anglia, has ticket offices operated by both and has ticket machines for GA, LU and DLR.

10 and 10a being platforms that face each other across a pair of tracks is beyond confusing into wilfully obtuse. I know it's to avoid renumbering the Jubilee line platforms- but regardless, it's bad. They need to just absorb the cost and renumber the entire station in a sensible manner.

We also have 4a and 4b for the DLR to Canary Wharf, there used to be a single platform here before they added another one.

4a & 4b at least are opposite sides of the one "island" (peninsula?). And 3 & 3a at least serve the same track. 10 & 10a are completely separate platforms serving different tracks.

West Ham did of course have the North Woolwich trains (which sort of counts as London Overground)

Wilfully obtuse

If you know a way of absorbing millions of pounds of cost, please speak to my accountant. The cost is in reprogramming all the automatic route setting in Liverpool St IECC, which relies on the platform numbering to set the correct route. You could renumber 8 to 7, 9 to 8, 10 to 9 and 10a to 10 and not touch the Jubilee line. However if ever there was a time to do it, it was 2012. Boat missed unfortunately.

At White City middle platform the doors are only opened on one side of the train depending on which direction it is travelling, similarly at Loughton middle platform and Golders Green middle platform. It is not like Barking Eastbound or Stratford Westbound (or even Canary Wharf DLR) in that respect.
