Just typed it in and it's come up 'direct'. That could mean via Seamer, I may be wrong.

Technically it probably means driving the train across a field near Malton

East Coast suggests yay (and will issue a reservation on TPE), NRE suggests nay.

Route Direct validity was debated a couple of days ago in another thread.

Hull is an appropriate Routeing Point, so Hull is a permitted route for an Any Permitted ticket, but bizarrely there is no Any Permitted option for this flow.

I wonder what route(s) count as 'direct' for Horsforth to Hunmanby...

Surely this would be either :

Horsforth - York via Harrogate - Filey - Hunmanby or Horsforth - Leeds - York and as above?

That probably depends on a million factors including, but not limited to, whether there's a 'k' in the month.

Logic would say Horsforth - Harrogate - York - Seamer - Hunmanby is the *most* direct.
