Hi all,

Is fotopic broken? The main page works but for me I swear the search function is broke. 3 days ago I searched Class 60, and it came up with galleries but when I clicked Photos, it came back with No results found for 'Class 60 in 'phots'

I found that quite hard to believe, so I tried Class 142 and Eastleigh and none were found at all, which I know has always came back with something out of the two so that got me thinking, that must be broke!

Could anyone please take a couple of minutes of their time and see if the same searches work for you? I'd expect something like this to be down for a very short time, but 3 days later I'm wondering if it's me or not?

Cheers,

James.

Fotopic does seem to have been left behind a bit with poor reliability and interface.

A few non transport people I know that used it have abandoned it for Flickr in recent months...

I believe they have been changing servers which would explain why bits of it are not working.

There does seem to be a lot of people (myself included) abandoning fotopic and going to flickr, one of the main reason being unreliability.

I have found flickr to be much better and easier to use and does seem to upload my photos a lot quicker than when they were on fotopic

I find the search tends to break often, but I've rarely found the whole lot to be down.

It has been like that for at least three days
I have been searching 12140, which I know exists...

.

How easy is it to migrate huge amounts of Fotopic stuff to other hosting sites?

I'm not sure I'd have enough time to repeat all the uploads, captions etc!

Having said that, Fotopic continues to work perfectly for me!

Fotopic provides a good interface but it so often grinds to a halt I feel like throwing the computer out of the window.
