Can anybody tell me if the National Express stop/station is the same place where local buses station (number 9A)?

Apparently not, according to the most recent item I can see on Stagecoach South West's website here https://www.stagecoachbus.com/promos-and-offers/south-west/exeter-bus-station-redevelopment and which states that National Express services have been removed from the bus station to nearby Sidwell Street - there's a map on the link. 9A appears to remain at the bus station for the time being.

This is correct. Exeter bus station is partially closed. National Express and Megabus services have been relegated to a couple of basic bus shelters in Sidwell Street outside Subway. It is only a short walk from the bus station which is still the terminus of service 9/9A.

Exeter bus station still handles a few buses, but if using 55 Tiverton services and 155 they go from oposite bus station by lewisi’s. to get to the coach stops from bus station, at bus station entrance turn left, go about 200 yards up road then turn right and your there, literally 2 mins walk.

Stop 31 on Sidwell Street is the official stop for Megabus and National Express, outside subway, but they stop anywhere along the short bit of road, as 2 or 3 coaches can turn up at once, I imagine if weather bad everyone will go into Subway, as its 24 hours, there is very little shelter at the stops.
