Hello. Apologies if this is at the wrong subforum. I was wondering if this Italian bus company was still around. I know Karsan produced Breda buses under license until at least 2022. And it's Wikipedia entry says defunct 2015 (but citation needed) I saw the Industria Italiana Autobus name around a few times. What happened to this company?

Wikipedia seams to answer your question

English wikipedia had a citation needed tag so I didn’t put much value onto it.
It's worth reading the local language wiki pages as well, they often have more details than the English pages.

This appears to be the current company derived from various mergers/acquisitions.

thank you. Did a transportation agency or someone else made any purchases from this company recently?

The company's own website, https://menarinispa.it/en/ has a news section. A recent entry is
On Monday, February 2, ten 10-meter Citymood buses powered by natural gas, manufactured by Menarini S.p.A., officially entered service as part of the ASM Rieti urban fleet.

Featuring state-of-the-art technology, accessibility, and environmental sustainability, the new vehicles represent a further step in the city’s mobility renewal plan.

We are proud to contribute, with our vehicles, to the transformation of local public transport towards an increasingly efficient, inclusive, and low-impact future.
