Hi, Some friends and myself are heading up to Huddersfield from Manchester in July. What ticket do we buy to enable us to get off at Stations along the way, Then rejoin the Train?. Many thanks.

An Off-Peak Return or Anytime Short Distance Return (depending on the time you wish to begin your journey) would do the job. This would be valid to get on at Manchester, break your journey at Stalybridge, continue on to Greenfield, break your journey and so forth.
If you want to stop off in a non-consecutive order (e.g. Manchester, Greenfield, Stalybridge, Marsden) then a combination of ranger tickets would be better suited, though note that neither Greater Manchester nor West Yorkshire day rangers cover you across the county border (between Greenfield and Marsden), so you will need to pay the "tunnel tax" to get between the two!
