The Telford Steam Railway hopes to go as far as Lightmoor Junction where an island platform will connect with the VLR which will take passengers to Ironbridge and vice versa.The Telford Steam railway shouldn't be too bothered by this. The route needs much rebuilding and doesn't seem to go anywhere central in Telford.
The proposed rolling stock looks more conventional but should have a more conventional cost. If it had buckeye couplings and jumpers, then it could at least be rescued by a 37 when it broke down. It might even then work with other units in multiple!
I don't see the point of railway infrastructure costs for mere bus capacities but perhaps I need a new armchair and crayons.
