Irish railway magazine?

Hi folks. I was hoping to get some advice on a good source of information with regards to the history of the rail network and industry in the Republic of Ireland. Railway and train related magazines are the obvious source but I can't seem to find anything specific to Ireland. I did find some interesting vintage railway magazines for sale online on this classified ads website here in the Republic:

But again, nothing really specific to Ireland. Through my research I have heard by word of mouth about something I believe is called the "Journal of the Ireland Railway Record Society" but I can't seem to find anything about it online. Does this ring any bells with anybody? Other than that, could anybody recommend any other publications that maybe of some use to me? Thanks in advance for any pointers offered.

The railway magazine has some Irish content, perhaps you could try today's railways Europe? It goes without saying that neither of these are specific to Eire.

Today's Railways UK (rather than Europe) is the title that carries Irish railway material and articles - a request to the publishers some years ago to change the title to something more accurate (TR B&I perhaps) unfortunately fell upon deaf ears.

Alas most of the Irish content in Today's Railways UK has disappeared altogether. They scrapped the Irish News section about six months ago now, with the promise that any relevant news would be contained in the standard News pages: I can count on one hand the amount of entries there have since been. As for articles, the last I can remember were well over a year ago, about the state of NIR. I couldn't even guess when the last article on the Republic was.

That will probably have tied in with the appointment of a new editor. Rail Express has a couple of pages of Irish News in every issue, although for more historical stuff, the IRRS is probably a better bet.
