Are there any equivalents to Real Time Trains and similar resources for Ireland? Couldn't get tickets for the RPSI trip to Dundalk on Easter Monday so plan to chase and photograph it. It would be helpful to work out where it gets overtaken. If anyone's got a schedule for the special it would be handy too, the only information I've got is the arrival and departure times for Dublin, Drogheda, Dundalk and Skerries Loop.

Are there any facilties for turning the loco and if not which way would it face?

See the entry for Ireland in this thread:

IRELAND (IRISH RAIL):

The first site is a live departure board for stations while the second and third and fourth and fifth and sixth sites are basic live maps showing the current positions of trains.

There is no way of tracking special trains publicly in Ireland.
The only way of knowing is from the timetable in the staff weekly circular.
