I'm planning of perhaps doing an interrail one country pass of Ireland, but have a few questions:
How would I have proof of residency? It mentions government issued documents, naturally I have a UK passport and I am also a UK-born, UK citizen, but I understand I have to have proof I'm normally resident here. Also is there any way to get it with free/cheaper postage than myinterrail?
I believe the pass is normally valid in Northern Ireland, but would I be ineligible for this given that I have UK citizenship? Is Enterprise included? I know NIR are so I assume it is but can't seem to find a definite answer. Also if it is, is any advance booking or reservation required? It says that many international trains require reservations, but I can't seem to find whether reservations are compulsory for Enterprise. Then is first class worth it given the smallish price difference? I know Enterprise and the Dublin to Cork service have first class and was thinking of going for a first class pass for this reason but can't decide whether it'd be worth the additional cost.
One final question: How large is the Travel Diary for a one country pass? I imagine most tourists won't need to fill in that many trains but if bashing around Ireland could become full quite quickly. Would manually prepared continuation sheets be accepted?
Apologies for all the questions, have done some research but can't seem to find the answers to these questions!
