Although I'm pretty sure I can use these tickets, best to check first.

Day 1 [27th June]: York - Cardiff via Man Pic (easy enough with advance tickets)

Day 2 [28th]: Cardiff - Dublin on overnight ferry, travelling to Holyhead with a Rail and Sail ticket. Keep getting quoted different prices for this.

Day 3 [29th]: Dublin - Belfast. No idea on ticket prices with this just yet as they only seem to come out 28 days in advance. Any ideas what it is likely to be?

Day 4 [30th]: Belfast to London Euston on sleeper. Again different prices for Rail and Sail - will be using the seating not a berth.

Day 5 [1st July]: King's Cross - York. Was looking at a GC £15 ticket but doesn't look as if any are available. Just have to do an EC I suppose.

If someone could give me a rough idea of how much this would cost, that would be great. TIA for help.

Shame about the timing - few days after the 80 Class are withdrawn !

Rte Hlyhd IrishF CIV £33.00
Rte Hlyhd Swift CIV £34.50

Not sure but would a ticket from Cardiff to Belfast NI (£44 via Holyhd Stena or Holyhd IrishF) not be better? I suppose there could be BOJ issues if you are spending time in Dublin.
Day 4 [30th]: Belfast to London Euston on sleeper. Again different prices for Rail and Sail - will be using the seating not a berth.
£49.00 Rte Stranraer Stena, however you can use a Railcarad for this route, the price with a Railcard is £32.35

£15 payable on board providing you get the early morning train. Offer available until 25 July. In the new timetable this is "Monday-Friday 07:49 from Kings Cross" (currently 08:04).

Okay, by the looks of it. If you force National Rail to give you a 2hr change increment it gives this :

18:18 Cardiff Central [CDF]
Holyhead [HHD]
22:36
02:30 Holyhead [HHD]
Dublin Port - Stena [DPS]
05:45
05:45 Dublin Port - Stena [DPS]
Dublin Connolly [DCL]
06:30
15:20 Dublin Connolly [DCL]
Belfast Central [BFC]
17:27

and gives fare for £44.00. not really sure on the ferry tickets, and certain restrictions when over in Ireland.

also an adult single Dublin-Belfast, this is a walk on fare is 38euros

I had a web return from Belfast to Dublin for £10, but it involved the 06:50 out of Belfast and the 20:50 from Dublin. But these have to be booked online and at least three days in advance.

If unsure, call Translink on 028 9066 6630. (I think that's right.)

You can only book on Irish Rail for journeys starting in ROI and on Translink for those starting in NI on the Enterprise.

Moot point for the op as a through ticket from Cardiff to Belfast is by far the best value.

Getting the overnight Stena ferry there is a free bus from there to Dublin city centre and from there take whichever Belfast service you want.

For the Belfast-Glasgow-London buy your ticket in GB before you leave to get a railcard discount and remember to book the seat on the caledonian.

Definitely book before you leave for your sleeper reservation, however it's not necessary to book in GB for the railcard discount to be recognised. The NIR Travel Agency at Belfast Great Victoria Street and the ticket counter at the Belfast Stena terminal both sell NR tickets and give railcard discounts. However in order to be sure of a reservation, you should definitely book that journey in advance.
