Just a quick background:
Latest iOS 26.5
Please note my @icloud.com address is not the email address I sign in to the Apple account on my iPhone, I think this is what is causing problems when I'm looking for a solution (I've been trying for week, hence posting to the forums).

Basically I've changed my @icloud.com email address which you can do on iPhone, and it has updated my iPhone and iPad - no problem.
My question is, how do I find the email account password I want to link it to Outlook?

Many thanks in advance.

I’m going to assume you mean to download the physical arriving emails/sending emails from your @icloud.com email onto Outlook?

Generally if you login in iCloud.com and scroll to settings, passwords and then find app specific passwords it should generate you one to input into Outlook. I did however try this recently and it just gave me a passkey which is a hundred times better.

Thanks for your help, I've tried but to no avail. You are correct, passkeys are the way forward.

However, I found a mail forwarder which works and added a 'from' email address to Outlook, so all is good.
