Hi

Having a bit of a mooch around the Routeing Guide to find the best value tickets for a potential trip up to the region later on in summer and have got a bit lost. Basically, I was wondering the following:
- Which is the station furthest west that it is valid for travel from Glasgow via Aberdeen?
- Which is the station furthest east that it is valid for travel to Perth via Aviemore?

Every intermediate station on the line appears to be a member of both Aberdeen and Inverness routeing groups, however Easement 030133 'Customers from Insch, Huntly, Keith, and Elgin travelling to Aviemore and beyond may travel Inverness. This easement applies in both directions.' implies that the answer to the latter question is Insch?

Thanks in advance

Re. Glasgow - Inverness, there are two routes with the any permitted one being valid via Aberdeen. Same for Nairn.

Certainly Nairn and Forres are valid via either route if you are travelling from Edinburgh. I've had two Club 55 tickets from Edinburgh and did the full circuit via both Aberdeen and Inverness, in two separate day trips, giving me a couple of hours in the destination on each journey. Whether Glasgow is the same as Edinburgh I'm not sure.
