Hi there,

I recently attended an interview as I had already passed the assessments for a Trainee Train Driver role with a TOC. Unfortunately I failed on the question -
"Name a time you have had to follow rules and procedures and pressure has been applied to the rule?" (I recall it was worded like this)

I thought at the time I had answered the question quite well but it turned out I had not which baffled me a little. I was just wondering if anybody else had any ideas on how they would answer this?

Im just asking as I intend to improve on this answer as best as I can for my next shot so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

It means have you been put under pressure to break a rule, and how did you react.
