I had an unsuccessful interview the other day and when I asked for feedback I received a phone call instead of generic email. Anyone else ever been let down and had feedback over phone
I've never had satisfactory feedback from any interview. You're lucky you got any.
For 1 TOC last year I got the "unfortunately unsuccessful" email but told to email or phone to get feedback. When I did phone I was told they don't give feedback to external candidates. Emailed a few days and got no reply at all. I wonder if GDPR law applies in this case to force them to give me the data?
Had An interview with NR last year and was unsuccessful. I asked for feedback and the hiring manager rang me and went through the interview question by question, indicating where I could’ve picked up more points, which would’ve given me the job. The feedback lasted as long as the original interview.

Correct. I’m surprised that a TOC would say they don’t give feedback. On the paperwork we used at SWR it reminds interviewers that the candidate has a right to see the notes made during their interview.
