Trying to take advantage of the Quidco offer and the better exchange rate at www.myinterrail.co.uk.

On Chrome, if I just try for 1 pass it asks me to fill in details for 5 passes...... Then the next time I try it asks me to fill in details for 6.......

Trying a different browser - Edge - it would let me get to the payment page but wouldn't process the payment. When I tried with a different card, it says I've already processed that transaction.

Then when I try again it asks for details for 2 passes. I don't mind buying 2 passes so I fill it in but it says that the details on each pass need to be different.

Not sure what to do - I can revert to www.interrail.eu but miss out on the better exchange rate and the Quidco 3.2%...

I can keep trying but did I read that the prices were going to rise before the 5th when the 10% off offer ends?

Default thing to do with weird website behaviour: clear your cache and delete the cookies for that domain. Alternatively, open an incognito window (Ctrl-Shift-N).

Standard class prices are said to be rising tomorrow, so you're defitely better off buying today, even if you have to use Interrail.eu. Do at least use GBP rather than EUR pricing, to reduce the 'premium' you're paying.

I've managed to buy six passes through myinterrail.co.uk over the last couple of days (not all for me, I should hasten to add!) so clearly the website isn't fundamentally broken.

Have you got an adblocker or any other sort of browser extension enabled? And have you tried doing it in an Incognito window, to avoid any existing cookies potentially interfering/causing issues?

It keeps failing for me after entering card details. I've tried with both Mastercard and Visa cards - it looks like it can't load the verification page
Might be worth considering signing up for a Curve or Monzo card (can be done in the app, and I think details are provided instantly for both) and using that instead?

Thanks for the above 2 comments which I've tried.

I get a little further on http://www.myinterrail.co.uk/ but now can't get past a warning that says,

" Please specify the lead traveller - You must specify the lead traveller for your party. Please edit the pass belonging to the lead traveller and tick the relevant field."

Leaving aside that this is just an order for 1 pass, there is no option to edit the pass on that screen. So all I can do is remove the pass and start again...

Thanks for the mention of a potential price rise tomorrow - I need to balance that with the fact that the Quidco 3.2% and the better exchange rate worth about 3% might be more than the price rise. Or might not.

Tomorrow 2nd class passes become 5% more expensive. 1st class passes keep current prices.

I tried that and myinterrail.co.uk just did the same again. As it is part of National Rail, it appears to be just like the rest of the UK railway - utter garbage.

I've just tried and and worked for me along with the Quidco saving.

I managed to successfully buy one, after having to use a different device as it kept asking me to fill in the details of 3, 4, 5 then 6 passes when trying to check out

Must be honest had no issues at all. Know a few people have had issues so seems strange.

When buying via MyInterrail, do you just use the same interrail app for the mobile pass as if you were buying from interrail.eu?

There appears to be very little information relating to the mobile pass on MyInterrail.

Yes - you get an email around half an hour after ordering, which contains your pass number. You enter this and your surname into the Interrail app and then it launches the activation process in the usual way.

(Not quite on topic, but probably not worth creating a new thread for!)

Interrail reservations on NightJet appear to have gone down(!) is price with the new year. I just paid 33.20eur rather than the expected 34eur for a couchette from Hamburg to Wels. Similarly, the cost of a seat was 13.70eur rather than 14eur. Is this just a one-off fluke, or has the price officially gone down?

No, I'm getting the same, but only on fares to/from Germany and (slightly different prices) Switzerland - haven't checked further.

Realised yesterday made a mistake in order (despite having checked it but didn't notice it), emailed Myinterrail and got it sorted at no cost (although had to reorder they fully refunded the one with mistake). Luckily think I realised before they'd processed the order so was easier to sort.
Definitely recommend based on service provided.

I've tried with both a Mastercard and a Chase Bank card but no luck. The site doesn't take American Express. Did you go via Quidco?
Yes, went via Quidco.

When I add one item to my basket on MyInterrail, it's asking for me to add the details of three people (and won't allow duplicates).

Anyone else had this issue? Whenever I try to remove one, it removes all three passes.
Yes, I repeatedly had that: sometimes zero, sometimes one, sometimes two, sometimes three. Was trying to book one.

Also, when occasionally the above did give the right number, the payment failures (regardless of card and web browser used) occurred every time anyway.

Have now gone to another source (independent agent) - a bit more expensive and no Quidco, but hopefully I can rely on him!

It does make you wonder what volume of sales Myinterrail have lost.

For what it's worth, I just successfully carried out a two-person booking on myinterrail.co.uk at the more favourable sale prices.
Chrome on MacOS, no discount codes or cashback things, UK credit card payment.

Similar tale here; booked passes for two people via Topcashback (Chrome on Windows 10), paid by Visa credit card. Everything worked as it should, got the email with the codes within minutes and the cashback tracked within a couple of hours as well.

Now it's a question of keeping fingers crossed when it comes to activating the passes on the phone - won't be doing that until shortly before we're actually going to travel

I was about to make a purchase using Safari, but your post has reminded me that some merchants don't play nicely with WebKit.
