Will this be available to purchase after the UK has left the EU, as I recall it is for EU only. How much different (price, area) are eurrail passes?

I may be wrong but I don't think Interrail has anything to do with the EU - Turkey for example is part of the scheme.

From the FAQ section on the Interrail site:

Will the UK’s vote to leave the EU affect travel with an Interrail Pass?

No, UK citizens are still able to travel Europe with an Interrail Pass. Likewise, travelers from elsewhere in Europe can still visit the UK with an Interrail Pass.

Turkey, Serbia, Norway, Switzerland, Montenegro & Bosnia are valid and not in the EU.

However Estonia, Latvia & Lithuania are not included, but are in the EU.

Interrail was once also valid in Morocco. Don't know whether it still is.

The first Interrail was issued in 1972. In those days the Common Market had six members. The UIC predates even the Common Market (I think), and its membership has never been identical. Phew!

Don't confuse "Europe" with EU - even when (if, who knows) the UK finally leaves the EU it will still be part of Europe (as much as some newspapers would have you believe otherwise).

If you're a UK citizen, you can still travel with an Interrail Pass. This does not change as a result of the outcome of the UK referendum.
Citizens of European countries that are not members of the EU, such as Switzerland and Turkey, can also travel Europe with an Interrail Pass.
Interrail travellers from outside the UK will continue to be able to use their Interrail Pass to travel in the UK too."

Of course what might change is that UK train companies stop accepting Interrail tickets, but I think that is probably quite unlikely and as some more knowledgeable posters here might know there are probably some legal things involving UIC etc...
