It's the UK rail industry. Noone cares a damn. Even if they do, the contractual interfaces between the bits means noone can.
This has been going on since Covid and makes the majority who book online think no trains are running because there is no quota even though a flexible ticket can be used without a reservation. Then on the day many trains run almost empty. And noone cares.
