Shenyang (in Manchuria)? Interesting history of the railways and borders around there...

Spot on - correct! Taken from Google Maps as last time I passed through that Station was 1989 on the Trans Manchurian Route of the Trans Siberian Railway. Vividly remember huge Black Steam Engines pulling Cargo and maybe some Passenger Wagons.

Correct! Over to you. The Fans on the train were going to Lecia Gdansk Stadium for a Derby Game - raucous but harmless. Riot Police on every Platform between Sopot and Gdansk Glowny. When I got off at Gdansk Glowny there was a very impressive Water Cannon waiting outside the station to deter any bad behaviour. I actually went to the ground on the Tram afterwards to experience the atmosphere (which was fantastic) but couldn't obtain a ticket as it was sold out.

OK - thought I recognised it - I used to work in Oslo for Det Norske - I remember on one of our weekend trips to...............Gjovik.
