Like many people, i thought it looked a bit more Pyrenean in nature, though when you get that far South in the Alps it starts to change (I have done enough hiking there!) and nowhere in the Pyrenees quite had the geography to match up (ie pointy mountains to the North)

Alas i dont have a picture of my own, so this is from google street view (so please dont reverse image search)

A clue is this station is the closest to a major sporting venue.

This station is also in France (i have been to this station this year and neglected to get a photo)

On closer inspection, the line seems to be electrified with the sea in the background.

Termini Imerese was my lucky first guess and the similarity in architecture made me think it was worth working down the line ( spurred on by @D6130 's guess!).
