One observation: it looks like the train is hauled by a EP1 electric locomotive, which should only be able to run on 25kV 50Hz AC sections. That narrows our search a bit down.

@parkender102
Is that station really located somewhere on the Trans-Siberian Railway (either the line via Kazan or Perm) ?

I am asking, because the overhead catenary looks pretty new. That's why I was originally looking for a station somewhere between Moscow and Rostov.

Top Work - correct! Over to you.
Passed through there a few years ago (1991) on the Empire Builder - Seattle to Chicago. From memory it was 2 nights 3 days (Coach Class Seats but perfectly comfortable as they recline and are more like First/Business Class on a Plane). Plenty of Room to move around and Restaurant / Washrooms etc and 15-20 mins at the stations to have a quick explore. Yes the Photo was pinched from Google Maps as the 7 rolls of Undeveloped Film (in the day before Digital Cameras) we brought back from USA were stolen from Amsterdam Bus Station on the way back (they were in my Girlfriends Day Bag). The most annoying thing is the film was of no use to anyone so was probably tossed in the nearest bin..........
