Which must therefore be Dzierżoniów - change for Bielawa Zachodnia.

The photo must be of the former station, as if Googlemaps is to be believed it is now let out and there is a single platform "bus stop" with access on the other side of the line.

I enjoy a challenge but will try and find something slightly less obscure (hope you don't mind me saying so). Not tonight though!.

The station building is situated on the left of the train.View attachment 164320
Agreed. But not used as such?

With apologies for the delay - I think this is a reasonably major station and the particular combination only occurs there: the 750 is detaching to allow another loco and stock to back on and take the train forward.

First thought was Baden Baden, but it's the old Biarritz-Midi, so I've learnt some French railway history.
The name on the sign was the only clue.

Trying not to be too obscure - the country should at least be obvious, though it may be stretching a point to call this a major station. Closer study will reveal which.

Apologies for the delay to this service owing to operating difficulties:)

Not steam and not n.g, but you need to think back 10 years or so....FB_IMG_1724867449658.jpg

S Yorks, usually
Swiss coaches and a German electric being removed by a diesel? So possibly somewhere with a system changeover or a border station… Also older German (?) station sign?
Those coaches were used on the Stuttgart-Zurich services, reversing at Singen, but I’ve only changed trains there quickly and don’t recognise it.

That was my first thought, but I'm not convinced (especially as the station name appears to end with "f", which means it can't be Basel SBB...

I wonder if there's been a loco failure, and it's actually nowhere near the border? No idea where though!
The end of the station name is a common abbreviation in German-speaking countries.

You are quite right, it isn't Singen.
