Correct!
The photo is from 2013, when Skånetrafiken had introduced their new X61 trains for the Pågatåg services. Many of the old X11s ended up in other parts of country, Norrtåg bought a couple of them and this is one of them, still operating in Skånetrafiken's colours. The train has just arrived at Umeå C (with me as a passenger) as a local train from Vännäs.

I was going to quibble - @superalbs didn't specify Umeå Central, but in his defence I couldn’t confidently tell you if Umeå Östra (East) had opened for traffic when this photo was taken.
As an aside, my office is in central Umeå and I use this train on workdays from Vännäs. Still operated by the venerable X11 trains in blue/yellow Norrtåg colours by Vy (and soon by new concession holder VR).
You're right, it is "guess the station" and not "guess the city". Umeå Östra was open when I took the photo, here is a photo I took the next day while waiting for my train south.

I haven’t really got a guess but something about this shot is giving me Japanese vibes. I expect I will be (thousands of) miles off however.

That's the one, it's the new Shinkansen platforms at Nagasaki. All four of them for what is currently an hourly service!

Huzzah! It was an absolute building site when I visited in June though from I could see it looks like it'll be a really excellent station once it's all finished. Felt a little like they were doing to it what we did to Reading some years ago.

Correct on the second attempt! It is of course Bordeaux Saint Jean, which also happens to have one of my favourite historic route maps, about as glorious as the one in Manchester Victoria.
